šŸ“” NCAA approves commercial logo's on jersey's starting Aug 1st.

Maybe you should read it again? Publix won't be allowed to sponsor UK athletics because of the current agreement with Kroger. So you won't see Publix uniform ads on Kroger Field.
Why should I read it again? It's this post which says you meant Publix at Kroger. The last one didn't infer such.

Uniform logos can't be seen via the camera showing the offense/defense alignment.
How many other situations do we see players wearing their uniforms? It's a given on the official site. It'll also be there on sites that carry rosters: like ESPN may do (I've never looked for a roster there.) If any site carries a roster, and that roster includes images?

Its a case of not being a big fan of a change but still being able to see some good that could come from that change.

Part of the UK / Kroger deal is a program for people who are underprivileged and need help with food. I don't think I'm being controversial when I say that seeing a logo, and knowing it helps feed people, isn't a bad thing. šŸ™ƒ

On the other hand. When Aaron's Lease to Own was a big part of the SEC sponsorships? I had issues with that one.

Group A: I can't believe they are raising ticket prices.
Group B: Do you remember when they moved our seats?
Group C: It is what it is; I'm quitting.
Group D: They complain about ticket prices, they complain about the NIL, they complain about the University finding funding...then complain about the product they are complaining about how its financed. And then, to cap it off, they ...

You might not go to Kroger. People in Kentucky do shop there. If there was a discount on groceries and was linked to UK athletics as well...it's a win, win, and a win. There's good there in a world that is murky, at best.

You may not eat KFC. I certainly don't. But if I did, and a school through their sponsorship offered discounts when events happened, I'd take advantage of those. Louisville fans would do the same. KFC wins. UL wins. Fans with horrible eating habits win.

Group D for me.

Yeah. I know money needs. Advertisements bring relief to tickets.... fans...

But advertisers dont bring anything else. Watch a game on tv. The 3-4 minute commercials......... certainly don't improve quality of the product......
I know that's what pays the bills.

But my question is..... when does it stop... max out.... putting it on field.... putting it all over the stadium....blaring it at u on the loud speaker.... Putting it on the uniforms.....

Like the "Energizer bunny" keeps goin and going and going. ( some actually stick... like the energizer bunny).
