I'm going to tell give you my take on what Robert said, but I would encourage you to watch the video for yourself. This young man is very mature, even beyond the physical aspects. Well-Spoken, thoughtful, at ease in front of the camera. I don't know that I have ever seen a High School Junior who I could say that I think the he will end up with ESPN when he finishes playing years from now, but this guy is it.
What he said:
When asked what he liked about Alabama is that they put a lot of players into the pro, and he cited the NFL draft a few weeks back. He call this (presumably getting to the pros) as his "main thing". He said that he loved the coaches and the way that Kirby Smart stayed after him giving him advice.
He said that LSU was in the hunt because they too produced high caliber D-Linemen and that they played "crazy" defense which is what he plays in high school. As with every other school mentioned, he said that he liked the coaches too.
Interesting was his comment about Ole Miss. He all but implied that they were in the hunt just in case he and his brother there grew closer before Robert signed. :headscratch:
Miss State was going to get a look because he has "another brother" who is there and that too may grow to be an interest.
Texas was mentioned as in the hunt, but he did not seem to be planning even the first visit.
UGA was noted, but so little that it was obvious that they were not a noted threat.
Robert stated that he would announce in the next couple of months, but first wanted to take another visit to Bama, LSU, and Miss State (no UGA, nor Texas) because he wanted to ensure that these three had the same opportunity as Ole Miss, who he has already visited 4 times.
