🏈 My Top 10

Just a few thoughts along the lines of the poll:

1)Agreed on Ohio State. Stinky. I think "Notre Dome" is highly over-rated.

2)What's up with N.C. State beating FSU? Even ut beat N.C. State.

3)Remember this summer when Gary Pinkel got offended in press conferences when reporters kept asking him questions about being ready for the SEC and the SEC speed? He said they came from a good conference and they would be ready. Would someone please remind him of those press conferences? Please? And let us watch his reaction. Hey Gary, Vandy beat your team.

4)I'm certainly glad U.S.C. east is winning. I'm looking forward to hearing Spurrier whine after losing to the Tide in the SEC Championship (I guess we could call it the National Championship game since LSU lost).

5)And finally, a funny for the day. Auburn lost to Arkansas. No really, Auburn lost to Arkansas.

Watch them jump Notre Dame over Oregon at the end of the year if they're undefeated:rofl:

1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. South Carolina
4. Florida
5. Kansas State
6. WVU
7. Notre Dame
8. Ohio State
9. LSU
10. Oregon State

Notre Dame beat Purdue by three and Michigan by seven. Is there really THAT big a difference between the best team in the land, who absolutely manhandled Michigan, and the number seven?

Oh yeah, Notre Dame did beat Navy 50-10. My bad. They are at least the number seven team in the nation.

Seems like before the season started i said Auburn would start off 1-4 but nobody believed me :icon_elephant:

So what is your top 10?

I didn't think they'd start off at 1-4. I thought most that were saying that were just being "Bama homers." Honestly, I still have a bit of a hard time believing their only win was against La. Monroe in OT.

I won't put Ohio State in my selections. Hell, it gripes me to hear the sanctimonious attitudes from the B1G in general, but to say they are going to allow a team on probation to actually win their conference crown? Pfftt. But, I digress...

I'd say mine would go about like this.

  1. Bama
  2. Oregon
  3. UofSC
  4. KSU
  5. WVU
  6. Notre Dame
  7. Florida
  8. LSU
  9. Oregon State
  10. FSU

The main reason i had them starting off like this was because of changing offense and defense and anytime a team goes away from the spread offense and tries to go to a power game it does not work for a few years because they dont have the personnel in my opinion to do that.

I'm shocked BVG hasn't been able to get more out of the defense.

now besides Alabama in the top 10 who would like to see play

I will go with

South Carolina and Oregon
Notre Dome and Florida
Kansas State and West Virginia

I'd like to see ND vs South Carolina, Mante Ta'o vs Lattimore would be an intriguing match-up

WVU vs Oregon

Florida vs Texas IMO would be a great game, Too young QB's, good offense in Texas vs a great defense in Florida.
