🏈 My strongest CFB belief is that we should go back to Divisions I-A and I-AA.

Make all NIL pay their own way…Only give scholarships to people that NEED them..
As far as Saban..He suggested paying all players the same.. I agree..

No way should they all make the same. I can understand the thought process of a “salary cap” type of pay schedule. As far as the “school pay” (actually athletic dept pay) the scholarships should be considered part of the payments, and count as such. Then again this is all my opinion. Your talking equity not equality.

I just think locker room warfare will eventually break out..IMO the O-line should be the most paid if the offense is good… no matter how good the quarterback is..they will let him get killed, if he is getting all the rewards…it’s happened in the NFL many times…

JMO.. Most all the schools are going all in on paying their rosters hoping to get better results or prevent from getting left behind. In about three years of paying millions only to see 6-6,7-5, and 8-4 seasons as the results of all those millions, perhaps their view will change.

Trying to keep facilities elite and paying millions for players going to be a struggle.

We'll see.

NIL needs a "salary cap" plan. I'm torn about the Transfer portal - it used to be that a player could transfer whenever they wanted (like any other student) but they had to sit out. This system reflected two things - on the player side, the freedom to go where he/she wants; and on the school side, the fact that they have already invested a tremendous amount of time and money through training, nutrition, facilities, etc... At the very least, the current system should have clear and straightforward guidelines and rules related to - number of transfers, tampering, etc. Athletic scholarships should always and only be based on merit. There are other scholarship programs that are need based.

The "sit out a year" was best thing n portal should have maintained that aspect.
And player who had graduated didnt have to sit.

Nil. Someone is gonna have to figure this out. Players getting lambos to transfer. Ridiculous. And bama has got some terrific players in portal. Game changers
