🏈 My 2 cents

This is what is driving me crazy, how do you not get motivated after an azzwhuppin like we got from USCe?:headscratch:

My nephew has all the physical ability in the world. He's 6'5" is fast, has a great arm, soft hands, etc. All the coaches and players at his high school begged him every year to play but he wouldn't do it. Ask him why and his answer was "because they suck....i dont want to play on a losing team". It's the same kind of mentality that cause players to give up half way thru a game or halk way thru a season. They are really only in it for themselves and don't want to put forth the effort for the betterment of the team.

Argo, scoot over and make room for me. I'm with you.

I've seen complaints about Bobby Williams now for 2 years. Can I be very stupid and ask why? Was it his bad on the fake punt? Should Saban not have seen it as well?

Our special teams played very good Sat. Mandell has been a very pleasant surprise outside of a punt or two. Peterson was a non-factor in returns.
I am talking about not being prepared for something as simple as a fake punt against the hat. I am not talking about every facet of special teams but how many times last year did the opposing team use kickoffs, short kicks and trick plays on kicks to gain an advantage or almost turn a game around. I guess some people have forgotten... On the fake sat night 10 man on the LOS and nobody looking for a fake, nobody covering deep...that is plain and simple a coaching mistake. That was my only real gripe, except for maybe only rushing 4 on that last big play from Lee.
