It may have been a "seeing the handwriting on the wall" kind of thing. I'm sure he had all the dreams the other scholarship players have and realized it just was not going to happen, or it could be that he is just tired of football. What these guys have to do, off season and on is very demanding.

Best of luck to him, I wouldn't be suprised if we hear about him going to Samford or even South Alabama next year.
