🏈 Middle Tennessee game

MTSU also beat Maryland, which beat Wake Forest. Sometimes none of it makes any sense.

Which is why you can't play the, "they played them who played them game" and come away with anything that will mean anything. If that makes any sense.

Just finished watching that one and .... WOW! A loss like that would probably cause me to quit coaching. Unreal!

FAU pretty much handled MTSU all game long in pretty much every way possible and lose on the last play of the game. Ouch!

Worth noting...MTSU had less yardage on FIU than that had against UK's vaunted D. Against UK, MTSU threw for 352 yards.

The passing game against UK is where I differ with Terry...I think our play action passing eats UK alive.

JPW's stats may surpass the UGA game by double. As good as UK supposedly is on defense, it would not surprise me if we have 500 yards of offense. They have not played anyone capable of moving the ball against a junior high team except for Louisville...and UL had 5 turnovers that led directly to 21 UK points. UK's longest drive was 7 yards. Their only genuine offensive production was a pair of field goals.

Darn! I stopped watching in the 4th. Didn't catch the end.

I hate to see that for Schnellenberger. The man helped our program win 3 national championships as our offensive coordinator. Not to mention the fact that he helped get Joe Willie on board at the Capstone. I know he's a big talker. But, at 75 years old, its nice to see he still has bravado.

There was no time left on the clock when that catch was made, which means that FAU beat MTSU for a full 60 minutes and still lost. How odd?

If anyone caught the beginning of the game, a poll was asked on which teams loss hurt their national championship hopes. They were..

A. Florida
B. Georgia
C. USC

USC had a majority of the votes. But one of the commentators stated that he thought Georgia's lost was more crucial. He went on to say that Alabama was not deserving of their #2 rating and that we have not played anyone.

That is about all of the game I watched.

I watched most of that game and that commentator was horrible, not just because of what he said about Alabama but he couldn't even keep up with the game.
Haven't played anybody? I guess beating the snot outta the #9 team, the #3 team(who just so happened to be pre-season #1), an SEC team, and a very respectable Tulane team that will contend for their conference title, isn't good enough. He either, instead of actually watching those games, decided to watch Bama-WKY over and over or I would like some of what he smoked for dinner.

All I heard over and over again was that idiot promoting that Tuesday night football call/write-in they were scrolling across the top of screen. Way to ruin what was actually a pretty good game between two no names that need the TV exposure.

You know as well as I do that you cannot play six degrees of separation with opposition.

MTSU is a hair better than Arkansas...but not much.

Maryland shot themselves in the foot with turnovers at critical times. A(rkansas)SU & Troy didn't beat themselves and MTSU lost those games.

I expect that KY is a little better than Arkansas. They are fundamentally sound and play good defense, but their athletes are a notch below ours. We win comfortably - 37 to 10.
