I met the parents of the Virginia kicker last night. They said Miami offered him $400,000 to come and kick for them this year. Virginia is paying him $180,000. For the life of me, I can’t remember their name. They said they were able to talk him into staying. Seem to be pretty well off, so the $$$ wasn’t quite as tempting.
Anyway, $400,000 for a KICKER that wasnt officially in the portal. Miami spending big.

$180000 for any player is stupid much less a kicker. What is valued these days is messed up..
