Alabama assistant Rob Bradley is headed to Purdue. Bradley expected to be named head coach. Mike McGraw expected replace Bradley at Alabama.

Mike McGraw is the former head coach at Oklahoma State.

From Golfweek:

Less than one week after Mike McGraw was relieved of his duties as head coach at Oklahoma State, he has found a new home. McGraw will become the assistant coach at Alabama, according to sources close to the hire.

Alabama won the 2013 national championship and finished second in 2012. McGraw spent eight seasons in Stillwater, guiding the Cowboys to the national championship in 2006 and a runner-up finish in 2010. Four times in his eight years the Cowboys finished the season at No. 1 ranking in the final Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings.

McGraw will replace Rob Bradley, who will be named the head men’s coach at Purdue sometime next week, according to sources close to the Purdue program. Bradley played college golf at North Carolina under Devon Brouse, who is the director of golf at Purdue

Seems like a good bit of success at OSU... Why was he fired?

This past season was the first they hadn't made the NCAA's in 65 years—finished sixth in the conference.

What caught my eye were a couple of side notes in the story.

One, they've just put a new women's coach in place also. The old one, who was successful as well, was recently moved into an Assistant Ath. Director's position. They brought in a 2005 grad to replace her. That led me to look at who was making the decisions.

As it ends up, it was a guy named Holder (Eight of their 10 NC's came with him as HC) who had been the men's coach for a long time. Now, I'm not discounting the drop-off in the men's program or making excuses for that happening under McGraw's watch. But I have to admit it raises an eyebrow to see a staple in their program making decisions like this. I don't know if he felt like he made a mistake with McGraw. His record would seem to indicate he's done a good job in Stillwater.
