Saw Bama commitment Markail Benton (Central-Phenix City) up close and personal tonight. Kid is a legit baller, fast as hell. Reminds me of Tim Williams too (not real big, kindy lanky but scary speed). He had an Alabama towel hanging out of his pants so I would say that commitment is firm. He even played some wildcat QB late. Impressed with him.

Not so much impressed with his teammate, Justyn Ross, tho. Have no clue how some considering him to be a 5-star other than his height. Dont keep me wrong kid is unbelievably talented but his routes are really lazy and he was tipping their hand every snap. You could tell where the ball was going by the way he played, and if it only took me two series to figure that out it cant take defenses much longer. Their QB sucks (as a passer) so every play has a predetermined pass (if its not there he runs) and on the plays where Ross wasnt the #1 target he would just jog and not even pretend to be actually running a route. It was pathetic. He did make an insane jumpball catch at one point over Enterprise's best player, Marcus Jones (committed to Purdue) and then proceeded to literally drag him to the one. They played him man-to-man the entire first half until he made two big catches (2-80) and then they put a safety over top to double him, he never touched the ball again but it exposed the shit out of Enterprise's interior defense. With that safety moved outside they gashed em for nearly 300 yards rushing... in the second half.

Thank for the inform, don't forget about tomorrow night updated. If you going to spend your good money,!!;)

Forgot to mention... Ross fumbled on his first touch too (a jet sweep). Really wish Bama would take a look at that Marcus Jones kid from Enterprise, reminds me so much of Javy but faster.

@Birdman37 are you going to do the Greet and Meet @ 2 pm? EST NWA Super Brawl Leagcy? here are some that will be: Schedule includes:
Rick Steiner, Curtis Hughes, Robbie E and more to be announced. Don't know the last two, Rick Steiner and his brother I do. I watch ole Rick win a match after he got his back hurt and he was out cold, the ref didn't know what to do . So he counting him as the winner of the match as he was carry out on by two other on a stretchers.

I was... but unfortunately things have changed... lol My wife decided she wanted to come with me so she could spend the weekend with me. She said she would go to wrestling with me but she would have been miserable... I ended up finding out they have a place in Columbus that plays musicals and she LOVES musicals so... Im gonna take her... So yes I am going to watch a musical instead of Alabama football or wrestling... bet they're wearing sweaters and snow shoes in hell right now...

Hey it a military town, it will have anything you want!

If you haven't been you might like the National Infantry Museum better. I live in Columbus and go to both yearly. The Naval Museum is nice but lacking compared to the Infantry Museum.

Well we probably wont be doing either this time probably. We messed up and brought our puppy with us (didnt want to leave her at home because we dont trust our roommate and my mom couldnt watch her) and she flipped the hell out when we left her alone tonight. Maybe next time I'll get to see it all, there is so much stuff I want to see here. Down town is GORGEOUS, there are some sketchy parts of town tho.

Across the river in PC is also a little sketchy too.

PC has a big time history. General George Patton threatened to take his tanks and "mash Phenix City flat" because of what the casinos and prostitutes were doing to soldiers. AG elect of Alabama was assassinated there because one of his election platforms was cleaning up the town. That caused martial law to be declared and the town to go through a purge. The Columbus Ledger and Sunday Ledger-Enquirer won a Pulitzer for their reporting of it. That being said, it is a lot different now. The downtown area (including up to the stadium you watched the game at) is undergoing the same type of renaissance downtown Columbus did and there are million+ dollar homes on the river right up Summervile Road.

Summerville Road, a small subdivision by the stadium and the stadium is really all I saw (minus going through the outskirts to get to Columbus)... I didnt realize how massive Troy-Phenix City is, Troy-Dothan is NOTHING like that.
