It's been reported over and over that the staff and players have conversations about progress, transfers, etc. AFTER the season is over. I'm sure some happens in the down time during bowl preparations. There's nothing to indicate players have talked to the staff and asked for transfers. It doesn't make sense.

If there are discipline and grade issues? I can see that. Don't see those playes contributing now either.

It was all about playing time. I said take it for what it's worth to y'all. These are the words directly from the players, not what I think about anything.

While this is somewhat true, the way you've phrased it will mislead.

As example, Kirby hasn't gone to his kids and said, "we're leaving." Kirby hasn't gone to Saban and said, "we're leaving."

Does he have intentions to move up the "coaching ladder?" Yes. That's certainly been discussed.

Why would any of the players be interested in leaving? There will be enough leaving for the pros or just plain being graduates that will open up many playing positions. There should be plenty of playing time for those that are not freshmen next year. This bothers me.

As of Thursday, both Kirby and Mary Beth said a decision hasn't been made yet. They are very, very seriously considering a few things and have expressed interest, through intermediaries, about a few things.

The semester is not even over, there is nothing to file yet. Some will transfer out, no doubt about it but I do not think it will be anyone playing significant downs for us. Once final exams are over, we should revisit this topic again bc it will be very interesting to see who we lose to grades and who is moving on for more playing time.

Interesting and definitely worth revisiting. Coaches come and go and so do players. You just have to roll with what you have. CNS coaches coaches as well as players. I trust in his judgement. Win or lose games, coaches and players it's my tide.

Are there many examples of players transferring with coordinators ? (other than QB's transferring with their OC's obviously)

I'm having a hard time thinking of any. Also would that not be some sort of a non-compete contract violation ?
