šŸ€ GAME THREAD March Madness 2026: Round 1 begins at 12:15, ET, on CBS. (Vandy, UArk, TX, A&M, and UGA play today.)

I know Hofstra isn't exactly world beaters by any means, but man I do not feel good about Bama in this game. This team has been sitting for a week, and it seems primed for a massive let down. Just my two cents. Hopefully I'm wrong and we won't miss a beat with Holloway gone, but I'm not holding my breath.

This years team has won by larger margins than expected against teams they were supposed to beat. Those teams where the two here neck and neck in terms of statistical analysis? They've done worse.

If we use the regular season to forecast how they'll play this week? They should do better against Hofstra than anticipated and worse against the possible match-up against TTU than anticipated.

I just don't want to be embarrassed. Hopefully they will play well.

In my eyes, we lost our best shooter snd clutch shooter. Holloway is a big loss for us. He was my guy on this team and that's why I'm so scorned right now.

I hope we get physical.

They won't be easy, but I think it will go a lot like our game vs Saint Mary's last season. Their style of play + talent level usually bodes well for us.

I'm more worried about Texas Tech. They do shoot it at a high volume like us but they can be very physical. That's a game I could see us unfortunately getting blown out.

Ultimately, we really need Allen and Wrightsell to step it up. Allen has been good everywhere else besides scoring.
