I call this the feel good story of the year.

Besides the highlights show on College GameDay Live, the game recaps on different sports sites and reading over the box scores and play by play recounts included I don't pay a lot of attention to anything in the Pac 10.

I'm sure a lot of it has to do with an East Coast vs West Coast television draw, but all of that pointed out...

If you want to talk about one team included in these disappointments that I haven't even thought about since the early part of this season it would have to be Arizona State.

I remember them getting a lot of love last year about a few units on their team...but, besides that, nary a thought has been given to what kind of season the Sun Devils had this year.

I can't call that a "disappointing year" to anyone other than those who really follows the Pac 10 and even then did they really expect the ASU team to make waves?

Yeah, Arizona State? I mean, really.

I do recall in a pre-season thread asking for opinions on who might be real contenders for the National Championship some yahoo here added ASU to the mix. What a dolt. Seem to recall the guy also dismissing USCsr as a contender because he did not see the great depth of NFL-type talent on that team as in the past.

At least the idiot redeemed himself by including Florida (winner if UF v. Georgia game to be exact) and Oklahoma among his five or so picks.

To me the Barn lived up to my expectations. They fell flat on their face after getting several breaks during Wingnut's tenure. The Viles and the Dawgs were dissapointing because of the hype that both had received especially with the Dawgs preseason #1.
