🏈 LSU's last offensive series (4 sacks)....

Is it just me or does it seem that CNS is pushing the defense to understand that we must sack the QB if our backs are just getting beat? Perhaps the Defense is understanding more & more that we need to sack the QB more considering our DB experience.

Either way, it seems to be working...

Do you think there was some discontent between Mettenberger and the OL? Bama rather easily obliterated the OL a couple of times, and after the 4th down sack, Mettenberger pushed #55 aside and hobbled to the line.

That's actually probably a better comparison that what I was thinking of. Being a Titans fan, I was thinking more along the lines of Kerry Collins.

Danielson seems to think he could play in the NFL. I think he has the arm, but I couldn't stand having a QB that has zero mobility.

One of the comparisons Danielson made was Joe Flacco but I think maybe that's not someone you would like to be compared to at this point. I dont want a QB that cant at least move around a bit in the pocket but there are several that have at least made it to the NFL with zero mobility.

I wonder if there's ever been 4 straight sacks in a game of this magnitude, against a team that is supposedly your equal? I doubt it.

I've been looking for information on this but I haven't found anything. Does anyone know how many times this has happened (in any situation - not just "in a game of this magnitude")?

I hate to be the one to post this but here are some facts I have found about sacs.

Don't forget Auburn University with 11 sacks against Alabama in the 2005 Iron Bowl

TCU posted a whopping 15 sacks against Nevada on September 9, 2000.

Can't find out consecutive sacs statistics.

I remembered 2005 (ugh) - It was consecutive sacks or more specifically sacks in a single series I've been looking for.
Sorry for making you bring up that aubarn stat...
