🏈 LSU vs UF: Fournette against UF defender: Penalty, or no?

I was under the impression it was just like Eddie Lacy did in the BCS Championship against Notre Dame, but I was wrong. that was a balled fist punch. say what you want, but that was not a forearm and no one throws a fisted stiff arm.

No one "intends" to hold? Really? So what is the "intent" in grabbing someones jersey or putting them in a bear hug to stop the defender from getting to the QB? You guys are ridiculous. Had that been Derrick Henry I dont think 90% of you would be making this argument... Just my opinion...

Yes, there are times when a player knows he must commit a penalty in order to prevent something (QB getting hurt, a TD being scored). But when does a player say, "I'm going to commit a penalty on this play. I think I'll try holding this time" and then does it?

A player doesn't jump offside and say, "I meant to do that." The intent of the player is never a criteria when a penalty is called.

jeez!

it was intentional...it wasn't intentional...it was a penalty...it wasn't a penalty.

all i can say is if he tries something like that to one of our guys, Foster will lay his ass out again.

and whey are we even talking about an lsu player on the ALABAMA forum? sorry, that just aggravates the hell out of me. this board should be for ALABAMA football and ALABAMA football ONLY!!!
