| FTBL LSU Players and a bar fight

The police report is supposed to come out by the end of the day today.

Miles said in his press conference "Neither guy is practicing today and they are preparing for the game as neither of them will play. This will not be a distraction."

Odom hasnt played all year. I would imagine if the rumors are true, both will be kicked off the team.

"Perilloux and Odom told police they were unfairly treated by the bouncers, and that the bouncers shoved them and their pregnant girlfriends out of the club. No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made."

This is shoddy journalism. They should have noted the exact number of pregnant girlfriends being shoved around. The pregnancy angle is a real sympathy draw, but a good journalist would also include a count of how many yet-to-be-deflowered girlfriends were shoved as well.

RTR,

Tim

I'll say this. The "media" in Louisiana is far different from Alabama. When the 3 got arrested (not even fighting), there were weeks and weeks of negative press. Regardless of what Miles does, I don't ever want to hear people talk about "homer" articles in the state of Alabama.

So, let me get this right....these two guys are 19 & 20, are in a bar with their pregnant girlfriends and end up fighting with the bouncers after they won't leave when they are asked to (at closing time.)

Saddest part is that they are both probably very talented players (or else they wouldn't have been recruited by LSU) and they are in danger of not only losing their football careers, but also their scholarships allowing them to get a free top notch education. Call me a softie, but I'm a mom. These are somebody's sons and grandsons. Where is the guidance in their lives??

I also wonder how this is going to change the opinions of the Heisman voters.
Remember that Perilloux said he would win 4 Heismans while he was at LSU. :D

He's better than Vince Young too.
