The first tractor I ever drove was a LA John Deere. After I got the kids thru college I began looking for one and luckily found one already restored. It still has the original serial number on the tractor which is rare. I have a letter from John Deere that my LA was put on the production floor on December 8, 1941, the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed.
