I like the idea, except for playing in "historic Legion Field". The stadium is too run down and the neighborhood too dangerous to consider playing there.

living here in Dallas, I would love to see this in the new Cowboys stadium or the Cotton Bowl (I haven't been since the 2nd level was added everywhere).

Legion Field is a DUMP just like the surrounding area. Birmingham is a dump.

I applaud you for your expert analysis. Come to West Side and have you learn how to be mugged. The surrounding area is more than dangerous, it is miserable and plain ugly.

Bring Legion Field to Tuscaloosa. Has anyone heard about the bizarre plan to move the whole stadium?

Starting at the UAB campus, and going east and south to the city limits in each case, Birmingham isn't bad.
