🏈 Kristi Malzahn provides halftime entertainment...

No, you really need to watch all of it. She cracked on her husband, and said plenty of inappropriate things. This does not help her husbands image or that of AU.

Do I have to?

I believe you, so I don't think I will. It was kind of hard to watch. I must have not seem whatever she said/did that is causing such a reaction.

But I think I saw enough - she's got a very animated style about her. Still, it's the guys wife. I guess I'm just a little old fashioned but I tend to want to stay away from things like this that open someone's family up for criticism. I'm sure she's a very fine person in many ways.

I recently turned 50 and, heading into the second half of my life, I'm making some half-time adjustments by trying my darnedest to be a 'glass half full' kind of guy.

Personally, I like her spunk. I really don't see anything wrong with anything she said. She seems to have an off the wall sense of humor and speaks her mind.

I think that some people have put so much into it, is because of the setting that it takes place. What she said would've been perfectly fine at an alumni function but for the setting she was in, not so good.

Possibly, but she seems to have no tact at all. I'm sure she's fun at parties, but she was being interviewed by a minister and didn't mind being outspoken about criticizing kids and others. There's a way to talk and there's a way not to, a place to say certain things and a place not to--she doesn't seem to know or care about the difference.

I'm just glad she's an Auburn wife.

offense

If she was displeased with AU scoring 22 on Oregon to win the BCS last year, I wonder how she feels about the AU O scoring zero points against Bama this year. Wonder what she said to ole Gus after that.

those of u saying u "found nothing wrong" with it obviously were watching a different video or didnt watch the video like the one guy who said he no problem with what she said yet "didnt watch much of it"...

That was what I was talking about parrot. It is ok to look like a complete bimbo in front of boosters or at parties, but being in an interview with a minister is completely out of line.

I wonder if the comment about "to competing colleges and the NCAA, your welcome" was about her comments suggesting that Gus gets up in the morning and does recruiting first thing - even during the season. I believe this implies he is recruiting during the official "quiet time" when they are supposedly not allowed to contact recruits. Not sure.

I havent' watched it in a few days, but IIRC, she says something about they're only allowed to take 50 scholarshipped players on trips (I don't remember what kind of trips) but that they always took way more than that. She also hinted at several other rules violations. There's nothing wrong with the way she acts (other than it being at a Christian conference), but she said many inappropriate things (such as how cute Cam is and how much time she spent with him) and the other "you shouldn't have said that" moments

Sorry I know I'm going to sound like a southern snob, but from the way she sits to the way she talks to the way she conducts the interview, mouth opened and closed......no class and not a lady.

I disagree. She is only on pedestal because of her husbands job - she is essentially biting the hand that feeds her.

She has little regard for the university, the kids on the team, the coaching staff, her husband and last and certainly not least, herself. I'm not saying this with crimson colored glasses either, I'd say this if she represented Bama or any other football program - hell, I'd say it for whatever she represented - business, community, etc.

She comes across as disrespectful in my opinion - almost like she enjoys being abrasive.

The reason I posted this had nothing to do with her being at a conf, but how she represents herself and the others that pay her husband.

Again, I don't see the problem. She seemed like she was just kidding around and being funny. Then again, I have a very open and weird sense of humor that some people take offense to that don't know me.
