🏈 Kind of OT: AJ McCarron NFL tonight

Anyone without Crimson colored glasses can see that AJ isn't ready to take this job. I remember one decent throw on a slant. The rest of his completions were dink/dunk check downs vs prevent (2nd & 3rd team) D. As mentioned, his longer throws were either late and/or not enough zip.

Dalton did throw a bad ball on one of his 2 picks but Aaron Rodgers would have looked horrible leading that Cincy offense behind that O line. He has won 40+ games in his 5 years in the league. Yes he has looked terrible in playoffs (along with rest of team), but AJ won't be winning the first game by a Bama QB since 1988 anytime soon (barring injury to Dolton).

Say hello to Greg McElroy and his 1-0 starting record with the Jets.

That wouldn't real bad. They actually let up on him as he was going down. I'm talking about one of those blindside bone crushing hits where the defensive guy's weight falls on the QB after the hit.

So in other words, a Dareus QB tackle instead of a Fairley one? Drove me crazy watching the difference in their play. Dareus would let up when the QB was going down, Fairley would act like he was doing WWE (except real crushing slams).
