šŸˆ Just how bad was DJ Uiagalelei under pressure last year? It's eye-popping borderline horrible.

So....

A lot of boys have exceptional talent...highly recruited ( guess Dabo haters wont give him credit for recruiting either)....

But still takes coaching..preparation...etc
And most will say...aboutthe jump from HS to college...speed of game is terrific...

But whatever....

I don't like Dabo. He's a goober, and continues to show he's not big time with zero adapting for transfer portal, NIL, and other aspects he just seems to miss with. He's got an ego I think most people aren't used to seeing. Kind of like those stories of what it's like running into a celebrity when no cameras are rolling compared to a red carpet event where they are all smiles. He won two Natty's, yes. He was the hot ride for a few years and coaching continuity was a major player in that run. Now we will see what he is really made of.

Same with Kirby. Let's see how he handles coaching turnover, as well as a roster turnover. I think he handles it better than Dabo just because he's still recruiting high level and fine with packing his roster and paying players.

I understand....and many dont like him....or many around dont like Nick...
Who has a bigger ego...nick or dabo?...lol...not many Stallings around any more

But first miss of CFPs since year 1....( i think) .I wouldn’t sell dabo short... he has put together a good program at Clemson.. not adapting may be a downfall...for sure...."change or die" my boss use to say...

Kirby....i dont know,....he is a recruiting machine...
Personally...i see bama, Clemson, uga, n osu being around the top for years to come...

Just less so

Smith by himself separates Saban from Stallings.

Here's one of the things I've pointed to as an indicator of a programming stalling. I've mentioned seeing the same type of athlete, across the board, in the wide receiver room.

Take Jalen Hurts or Mac Jones as example. We saw progression in both guys during their time at Alabama. There were a lot of traits we pointed to as things that were developed: they were better when they left than when they arrived. Stetson Bennett isn't lighting up any boards and we saw him improve in notable areas from '20 to '21.

What did you see from Lawrence that said the same? He was good when he arrived: great stats across the board. He maintained that through his three years at Clemson while the offense has regressed. Clemson has continued to win in spite of what a lot see as a team hitting their plateau. When I ask myself, "where did he improve at Clemson" I'm left shrugging: can't point to it.

I guess he improved early enough in career at Clemson.....
To lead them to a NC..

And...yeah...maybe they did hit a plateau....cant disagreeing with that....
