Just my thinking.
B1G opted not to have fans at the game.
B1G opted to play fewer games.
Both of these impact the financials of a program.
Now they're faced with the fact that a B1G program will not make the CFP. Another financial hit for the conference. How much will the B1G lose this year?
This isn't about helping Ohio State, it's about helping the conference.
I believe Ohio State is a good team, best in the B1G. Do not believe 5 games should get you into the playoffs. Considering other teams have played twice that number of games.
SEC had limited fans, more games, and could have 2 teams making the playoff.
What will tv revenue look like this year for all programs?
F the B1G and their inability to plan accordingly. They mismanaged this from the beginning.
