🏈 Julio took some passes yesterday

I just saw this at Rolltide.com. Apparently he did practice. Hope everything goes well quick enough for him.

Junior receiver Julio Jones (hand) practiced Wednesday and did not have any more problems since practicing Tuesday. According to Saban, Jones caught balls and practiced with the rest of the team. He will be evaluated day-to-day to determine his status for Saturday.

All I know is that TD reception right before half was a thing of beauty by Julio. There was a nice reception toward the end of the game as well. Both of those occurred after the injury. Of course I have no idea how much pain he was in.

Throughout his career he has shown a high tolerance for pain. Remember after the bowl game his first year we discovered he'd been playing the second half of the season with a broken wrist.

Part of me really wants him to play and part of me wishes we'd keep him out until the LSWho game.

I think we should bring him in the games, but keep him out of blocking or any type of situations where he might be tackled. It's unavoidable to get hit, it's football, after all. But we can avoid it unnecessarily, and still have him on the field drawing attention. Same thing against Tennessee.

He's a dangerous receiver, and warrants the defense having to committ at least one of their best to him. He needs to be 1000% against LeSU and Patrick Peterson.
