💬 Talladega Flyover/VIP Attendance Yesterday?

I was out on the lake yesterday with my grandkids on the waverunner around the beginning of yesterday's race at Talladega. To our south, toward the dam, there was a large jet flying very low heading WSW away from the track. At first I just got a side view, didn't appear to have the silhouette of a 747, and then it banked away from us to show four engines, or at least four pods. Might've been a KC-135. Does anyone know who did the flyover yesterday, or if there was a VIP there to open the race?

It was the flyover. Alabama Air National Guard and the 187 Fighter Wing. I always watch Talladega.

I saw this and was wondering why the 117th didn't do it. Turns out it was them.

I usually hear a lot about it around the North Al area but they either did not report much or I somehow missed it. Usually gets enough airplay that it is hard to miss it.

Good deal, I assumed it was the 187th, I think they did it last year.
