The Tim Tebow-led ā€œSEC Nationā€ will have a total face-lift this college football season, The Post has learned.

Bachelorette star/college football analyst Jordan Rodgers will be added to the show, as Paul Finebaum and Marcus Spears exit, according to sources. Meanwhile, Laura Rutledge is set to return as the program’s host that airs on the ESPN-owned SEC Network.https://nypost.com/2020/06/09/trey-wingo-wendi-nix-in-espn-limbo-due-to-massive-reshuffling/

ESPN offered Ben Watson an SEC Network job that he turned down, while it has auditioned Shaun Alexander, according to sources.

ESPN declined comment.

Finebaum and Spears are leaving SEC Network’s version of ā€œGameDayā€ on their own accord. Finebaum, who was on the program for six years, will continue on his radio/TV show and his many appearances on ESPN.

Spears is receiving a promotion as he will appear more regularly on the revamped ā€œNFL Live.ā€ Rutledge will host that program, as well.

NFL Live was on while I was grabbing lunch earlier this week in Lincoln. It's the first ESPN I'd watched in a few months, and it was nothingness. Spears, I believe, was drunk from his remote location, inserting "damn" at odd points in his meanderings. I was thinking it would be nice if he didn't stink things up on SECN when football starts when I found myself wandering through there.

Let's hope we have these gameday programs that means football is happening. I really never watched the SEC gameday program. Really only watched College Gameday and then only on in the background unless it was a really big Bama game.

May be wrong but this does not seem to be a good move for Spears. Now I would love to see Shaun Alexander added to the crew.

If you follow throughout the week during the season there's little they offer that's new news. I enjoy watching SEC Now during the seasons and 9 of 10 stories they'll have on Saturday morning are repeats of what they've discussed during the week.

With the variety of ESPN Podcast available during the season what GameDay ends up broadcasting is often a repeat as well.

They are both, literally, like summer re-runs.

I have to admit that I have never watched the Saturday morning SEC show so whomever they select is fine with me. As I get even OLDER I care less about the pre-game stuff. The one thing from the past that I thought was great was back in the 60/70's when the two teams (starters) were introduced one by one on the sideline including the HC.

I'm not sure, but were the players names on the back of their jerseys back then?

ROLL TIDE!

There is so much going on ....on Saturday mornings....to watch a bunch of heads talking....with opinions...that mean...its only an individuals opinion... we are so use to being feed the cow fodder....
"If lee corso dont pick my team.......i am ready to protest and burn the stage down.".... really who f'ing cares....

The games....awesome...the rest...not for me....
