McCaffery had 8 games of 100 yards or more ..... 4 with one T.D. And 4 with 0 T.D's . I believe to be a heisman you should impact your team more . He was never really a strong candidate till ESPN started tooting his horn and almost got it for him , they did get it for Robert Griffin lll .

Not a Nostradamus...... but I would put a massive chunk of change down that if McCaffrey had faced our defense last year, à la Fournette, his Heisman hopes would have went the way of the dodo too.

This. Look at his highlights and for the most part the defenses he faced couldn't tackle or were out of position. He's a great athlete but if Fournette/Henry were playing the same defenses Stanford plays then they would have won by landslides.
