šŸ“ John Emery Decommits from Georgia

Fourth recruit to decommit in the month of October. Second five star to decommit. I'm loving this because I love trashing Georgia fans, but I think it just goes to show that no matter what the media tries to say or how a coach implements his learning from Saban, you cannot be Coach Saban. We have lost recruits, but it has been few and far between, and Saban never lost one in the beginning of his tenure, he assembled the staple of his program on getting Julio and all of those guys and keeping them committed even after a six loss season. I admit that I expected Clemson to have this issue first, but I'm happy that I get to ruffle some feathers with it being Georgia instead. Pretty sure he is LSU bound, and we are looking solid for Trey Sanders, but I bet we make a call to him.

Quote.......Rusty Mansell says Georgia's depth chart at RB is one of the reasons John Emery de-committed from them.

that's one thing i hear some people talk about when they talk about BAMA.

BUT.....our depth isn't a hindrance with regards to playing time. our coaches make sure we have fresh legs in there in dang near every play. hell, i've seen us put in 4-5 different RBs in one game. yes, we have a premier back, but we also make sure to get playing time to the rest of the guys, too.

The Dawg fan base has been picking up on some internal friction with the team since they played Tennessee. They are speculating it has to do with how Kirby has handled the QB situation with Fields. That it's creating division in the locker room. Which might explain why Georgia hasn't looked all that inspired on gameday this season.

To lose recruits of this caliber, late in the recruiting cycle as we are, has made the dawgs apprehensive about how they'll finish this thing out. If they drop a few more of the elite players, I'd certainly agree. In any case, it makes you wonder what concession Kirby is going to make for Fields vs Florida. For a number of reasons, this game could be Kirby's Waterloo to the season.

The last thing a RB at Bama needs to be at present is the starter. He is playing when Bama is throwing the ball all over the field in the first half, and sitting on the bench in the second half when Bama is running the ball.

I laugh at this because that same depth was there when he committed. So he just realized it was too much for him or what? James Cook is still getting very few reps, Zamir White was already hurt, so nothing has changed from a depth standpoint from when he committed. Mansell and the Pups will say anything to try and save face. Instead of making it look like the second five star to decommit, let's tout our depth at the position to show strength.

We as Alabama fans know that depth is an illusion. We had five of the top backs in the country a few years back, and by the end of the season we were down to one.

The Fighting Kirby fans want all the positive things that come with being at the top but none of the negatives that are thrown your way at that same position. To hell with them. I hope Dan and the gators kick their azz.

Anyway for them both to lose? I can’t stand Mullen either...
There is Iron in your words. Dan's posture makes be think he is standing under a ceiling fan. I do believe once Dan is able to recruit a better than average DT QB then UF is going back to being a contender in the East. He did good work at Miss Mistake and you have to admit if you can have success at State then repeating success at UF should be much easier for him.

Yep...he scares me at Florida more than either Kirby or Jimbo at their respective locations.

Beware of Jimbo. He will have them quickly to #2 in the west and then quickly in contention for best in SEC. l have spoken.

I believe Jimbo is going to do very well at A&M. This game today is huge for the program. They have to beat State and Mond is going to need to play very well for that to happen.

For $75m he better do great... In my opinion, he underperformed at FSU. I see nothing that says he won't repeat this at TAMU.

10-4 9-4 12-2 14-0 13-1 10-3 10-3 7-6..........if you compare him to Nick then he comes up short....if not he is doing pretty dayum good.

I remember when the Braves were in the West. These two would have some great game. But that was in the '80 when those Braves started winning!

ACC Atlantic to SEC West is a significant upgrade.

His natty will always have an asterisk next to it (for me), thanks to the kick 6. No way in hell FSU beats Alabama in the BCS game.

Maybe u r right...but ...you know...somethings are just destiny....aka Cam and win vs Bama in 2010...and as you point out...2013
But we have some karma on our side also...
