I had already read about Brown prior to his announcing for Bama. The article, written by a Texas newspaper, talked about his maturity level and great grades. A lot of the info came from his coach. I find it hard to believe that a good citizen and student has become a thug and criminal, just by enrolling at Bama, and after becoming a citizen of Tuscaloosa. Don't get me wrong. I have a healthy respect for the many great law enforcement personnel that put their lives on the line every day for our safety. However, one or two bad cops can do a lot of damage, because of the power we give them. The truth will come out, hopefully, if we let this go to trial.
