I’m not trying to say isn’t. The DC job at Texas is better than working in the UofA ticket office too (and better than the DC job at Auburn evidently) and he turned that job down last year to stay in Tuscaloosa. I’m just surprised by the move because he did turn down the Texas job last year and I thought he was done with coaching, I’m not bitter.

Who cares what he said as long as he is happy. So much negativity.

Here here. I am sure he meant it when he said it. I respect the man for the love he has for my hometown and my University.

I wish him best wherever he is and at whatever he does....unless he plays Alabama.

coaching is one of those all-consuming vocations that is difficult to leave. unfortunately, adjusting to the "real world" after so many years in the coaching profession is damn near impossible for many.
