🏈 Jerrell elibility decision?

Yea. That is a good question. I wonder if it is a much different situation than with Julio and Ingram. I know he received a lap top and gave it to charity. What I dont understand is why his issue was not resolved the same time as Julio and Ingram.

Announced and decided are two different things here the way I understand it.

I've heard two numbers, one of them a lot more than the other. The game number I've heard the most is six, which puts him back for South Carolina. The other number is four.

That said, just because he might have served his suspension, it doesn't mean we'll see he on the field as soon as he's able to play.

I think the delay is equivalent to punishment since he wasn't completely forthcoming.

There is a difference here in institutional matter/punishment and eligibility.

On the "team rules" side of things he was in the proverbial dog house before the season kicked off—for more reasons that just the laptop.

Let's put it this way.

I would not be shocked if we hear his name bantered about quite a bit in the summer of 2010 as one guy that might fall on the attrition list. Frankly, that is up to him.

terry, correct me if I'm wrong. Wasn't he on the sideline in street clothes Sat. night? Do you think his issue with the NCAA is settled and this is something between he and CNS?

I didn't notice.

Yes, and yes. What I've heard fits—UA lobbied for a number of games, the NCAA made another ruling and it was accepted. Like I said earlier, I've heard two different numbers but the number six games more than anything.

That said, it isn't something I've made it a point to talk to friends about. He has a wealth of potential, but needs to get his head on straight about other things along with football.

To sum this up without getting into things I don't consider appropriate for the "spirit of this forum..."

I hate to see some players leave, but it's understandable when they do. I don't know what eventually happens with Jerrell. I hope for the best.

Good info Terry & good job at handling it as delicately as you have
