🏈 Jeremy Pruitt chastised for embarrassing Vols QB Jarrett Guarantano:

The guy screwed up and Pruitt called him out on it. This is called coaching. Since this is the Viles, I would prefer old Butch up there in Knoxville so these guys would continue to be coddled which would keep their program in the cesspool of mediocrity.

Anybody who has an issue with this is a candyass. I don't think he even intended to grab the facemask and if he did, it was for a split-second. Embarrass on national TV? His performance on that play was an embarrassment of far greater magnitude.

I think I saw Deion Sanders or another former NFL player - can't remember who - that recently said, "We are raising a generation of a weak people." It's shit like this that backs that up. If you are triggered by a QB getting yelled at for doming something stupid and having his precious little facemask tugged, then by God you probably should never, ever attend a football practice from junior high school up.

I don't agree with you often, but I completely agree with this and I thank you for posting.

In today's society, a lot of meaningless manure gets called out. Some people don't understand or care to know, what has to go into coaching young, head strong players, who are all about self instead of team. People melt down before knowing the facts like snow flakes in 38* temperature.

Of course it is not a big deal to anyone who ever played a team sport but remember...…We all live in the "kindler and gentler" world now where you are not allowed to hurt someone's feelings, show "disrespect" (I hate that word by the way because nobody uses it correctly), or do anything that the all knowing "media and social media morons, deem wrong.

I found this interesting coming from a former player. It's the last tweet that really caught my eye.

It's a bit ironic all of this is happening because he didn't do what he was supposed to do, but here Marcus suggests people need to be careful because they don't know how the kid will react. Aren't both a lack of maturity and self-control?

I find this comical coming from a former player like you mentioned, and mainly because it's simply a testament to the growing nature that some people can't say certain words, some people can't wear their hair a certain way, some people can't like a certain fashion. Where does it end? Head cases like Spears are letting the cameras make them think they are holier than everyone else and they can just blurt out whatever and it's gospel. Don't know how he will react? So here's a thought, see how he reacts when he doesn't get to play and a coach throws away his future. A coach can trash someone's future if he wants, but Spears wants the coaches to bend over the other way because the player may react different. Didn't he play under Saban?

Ok...just make a little safe space the rainbows can run to.....when they fuck up....
Should have been in military in 60s...see how they treat ur ass when you fuck up...'suse the language
