šŸˆ Jalen's dad suggests "biggest free agent in history." Jalen's brother refers to stories as "click bait." What's next for Hurts?

I hear rumors, (read on the internet, has to be true, right?) that Jalen is projected to graduate in December. If that is the case, then it would be in his best intersted to stick around and play in the fall, graduate and then transfer (if thats what he wants to do) as a grad/transfer without having to sit out.

I agree Jones looked good throwing today, but I know that is nothing more than very controlled practice. Having said that, Jalen looks to be the same passer he has been the last 2 years. Consistently behind the receiver on crossing/drag routes. He did make a couple of good throws, but still very inconsistent.

Herbstreit said it yesterday during the A-Day broadcast. I hope that's the way it works out.
If he were my son then my thinking would be to transfer now. Take that year off and then have 2 full years to play at my new school. Staying at Bama will only be a distraction for him and the program.

Really...how many of our QBs have transferred and made it big with the next team?
JH needs to stay put....if he want to play at next level....then change position...if not share time if Tua's hand heals ......

That's the absolute truth. There aren't any problems he's experiencing here that won't show up somewhere else. If Jalen is brutally honest about his potential, and I can't imagine he is at this point, then he should believe what he himself has put on film. Again, probably the hardest thing in the world to do with yourself. But as that sage philosopher Jeremy Pruitt said as he ticked off his players and fans alike this weekend, "film don't lie."

I tell you when they turn on the old projector on Monday morning you see PERHAPS a different view of how you ACTUALLY played on Friday Night. I was the punter and against Gordo I was kind of halfazzzing the coverage after I booted that 35 yarder(about the same distance as the new Bama punter) . Coach Pratt...."Mac...are your skipping or running down the field?"....The team got a good laugh as well. We won 13-7 regardless.

Agree, and have been beating this drum quite a bit. I don't think he is "quick" enough to be a DB, but could be an awesome H back.
JH is a Tebow 2.0

Wonder how good of a baseball player Jalen is?

I always wondered about JH as safety....and 2 way player....and as QB... so much you could do if he was so inclined....again .if he wants to play in the nfl.....he has got to do what his talent and skills are.....
But if he stays as starter at QB....we will have a dandy season....
He is smart guy...he will figure all this out....outstanding leader....very composed

I would add depending where he lands the problems would continue. You put Jalen at a FAU type of school and he's in a different league than the defenses he'd face.

I don't know how close they were in truth, but Kiffin created a lot of comfort for Jalen with all the motion. I don't think Daboll was able to recreate some of that. But choosing an FAU type school would tell me a lot about Jalen's future football agenda. That would surprise me.

My point wasn't meant to imply an agenda, just offering an observation. There are more than a handful of P5 programs he'd excel with. It's system dependent with Jalen at this point it appears.

I'm certainly not making any judgment here based off of him at A-day. Some things haven't changed like it being a scrimmage that does not showcase his abilities. I recall not long ago those who were pushing for Jalen to get the nod as a true frosh were using that very description.
