When us Hawg fans come over and predict another blowout of the game for this upcoming season.....

CRICKETS>>>> CRICKETS>>>>>> CRICKETS>>>>>>

Because i fully expect a loss again.... No Excuses, we do not have a real head coach, Our interim just filed bankruptcy, several of our players have helped us remain in the top rankings for the Fulmer Cup.....

Yet the past few years, none of this was an issue and you still won.....

So again...

CRICKETS!!!!~!

I really don't see the bankruptcy having that strong of an impact on the game.

I have seen mention of JL Smith's teams being turnover prone and penalized more than average. I haven't looked to see if that is the case when he's been head coach so I have no way of knowing whether it's true or not.

I bring it up for this reason. I can see Arkansas fans trying to draw comparisons with those two and Smith having problems with his finances.

Lack of disciplined play leads to TO's and penalties. Lack of discipline can lead to financial problems, but it has nothing to do with a guy not being able to see the market take the down turn on land deals like it did. 10 years ago he's walking away with millions.

And crickets?

This from Oct. 2008...

Tony Franklin is an offensive guru who is much better than that WAC loser Alabama hired. The fanatical fervor of the War Eagle nation reached its peak in anticipation of the "Spread Eagle," the most feared force in the Jungle at Jordan Hare since the piped in cricket noises. Someone forgot to tell them that Auburn's entire personnel base was recruited for a west coast / power oriented offense, and they didn't have a spread QB.
