🏈 It's now "Go Eagles" in Aubieville

So anyone coming to Alabama after 2009 is a coat tail fan? Or is it anyone not raised an Alabama fan? Trying to understand whose coat tails I'm riding.

I can honestly say I still knew very little about Alabama as a program before then. I went for academic reasons, but bought it hard and fast because I'm a big sports fan once I was accepted.
It seem to me you are a full Bama fan! You come and graduate from the best one to me. You did something I didn't do, but I'm a fan and no one will stop me from it either!!

Oh no, no offense or hard time taken. I don't mind my story. It's provided me a life I didn't know how to make happen, but Alabama gave it to me. I'm not upset I was raised on the team in a state I was born and lived in, just how life happened. Doesn't matter what anyone wants to call me, because Alabama supported me and I now help support it. I love Alabama, and God willing all my kids will go there.

Blah...he's a UGA fan that supports LSU and loves Gus.

Hey I was not asking to give you a hard time. Just something I recall and the commercial that was referenced has been around awhile so it was hard to imagine long time fans not seeing this before. There is so much history with Bama football. Fortunately I lived it from really the early 70's when I got old enough to really follow it. Just raised on Saturdays in the fall listening or watching Bama football. I don't even think about what it must have been like to not. There are few if any programs that can match Bama's tradition and history.

50+ you must explain your coat tail fan comment.... It might explain somethings lol...

Tongue in cheek. I started following Bama football in 50s. Went to my first game vs GaTech....late 50s....never waiver since....
Loved listening to games with dad.....great memories

Called me out, Casey? WTF?

You were right about them two years ago. However, my friend, you lovin' O is no different than lovin' Hugh a few years ago.

You and I went back and forth many a times about LSU the past couple of years. You said they wouldn't be anywhere close to where they are now and we debated that.

As far as Hugh, not sure where that came from, because I've never liked or cared for him at all. I still couldn't even really tell you what all he did at Ole Miss cause I never followed him there other than the class that was bought under his watch. I never gave Hugh two seconds of thought ever.

Agree...Whats not to like about....
"O."....or .the Pirate.....or Kiffin......
Just cause they are opponents...doesn’t committ them to purgatory......
Little funny how some Lsu writers are thinking....they now are the SEC kings ( are for a season for sure.....but....)
Time will tell

O I have some deep dark ties to AU.....Family were all AU grads...except Dad...black sheep for going to Bama...grandfather was cheerleader for AU....
Just me n him.....and my late big brother....
My condolences lol. My skeletons are I had a sister that went to the Barn and was in the Band in the 80's before transferring and I have a UT sister-in-law that is over the top with bama hate. The rest of us have some sense.

Now the wife's side of the family, all from east Tn and her dad got his advanced degrees from OM and the Barn. In all honesty her side really could take it or leave it when it comes to sports.
