It is, but so is Clemson and Penn State's, so I went with a team with the offense I didn't feel was as strong. I'm not sold on Allar either though.

Chalk will have them favorites in 11 of their 12. Three weeks ago I'd have put a red flag by Iowa: their fall practices have been inconsistent.

If he has his normal season they end with a 10 or 11 win season. It took him a minute with the roster when he took over, and then Covid (see B1G) sent some of those programs into a tail spin.

They have been sorely lacking in their WR room the last few seasons. Franklin focused on that this off season and there's a lot who believe he's shored up that room.

IF I recall this correctly, their two losses last season were both by one possession. A decent WR room could change those outcomes: both losses are on the schedule this season.

Right now he's "Big Game James" without Stoops' NC ring. He's Fulmer in the latter part of his career. 4-20 against top ten ranked teams ... pretty sure that's the record right now.

History will easily show I'm no fan of Franklin, he's a D+ gameday coach at best. He's Mario 2.0. The guy you are ok with being head coach 6 days a week, but on Saturday, he sucks. Now, he does beat the teams he's supposed to beat, and there's something to be said for that. But I don't see even him suffering more than 3 losses this season with that roster, and that schedule. More than likely, 2 losses. There's more than enough talent there to overcome his gameday shortcomings.

I agree with everything you have said, but the smart ass in me has to comment that they don't play three teams to lose to. That's why I did not pick them, because their conference is top heavy and they always seem to miss all but Ohio State. They do get Oregon this year, of course the year they are breaking in a new quarterback and skill guys, but nonetheless they have to play them.
