I like Tom Arnold and all, but I don't think I'm the only one thinking this.......God help the New York Giants organization if they're using Tom Arnold for anything other than draft beer consultation.

This is just going to stir up rumors...

I didnt have to stop and ask myself why he was there as much as the fact that i am glad Alabama was getting more and more attention.

Although, Id buy an informal scout on Julio, Ive heard him getting some NFL scout praise and I know Tom Arnold singled him out as a great player.

Well, I hate to bite but I will

New York Giants are the defending Super Bowl Champions and even though UA Coach Nick Saban has been known to jump from job to job, he is in only his second year here, things seem to be headed in the right direction, and he was recently on the cover of Forbes Magazine in a story that called him no less than the most powerful coach in the country.

"The Giants' coach may be leaving or something," the caller said. "And they've got the money, honey.

Given past history it's a very good point! Also I don't believe he liked the NFL as much as college.

Saban has stated that his biggest mistake was leaving college coaching for the pros....he will never return to the NFL.

Are you kidding. I wonder if this "caller" could have been a Auburn fan? OF COURSE it was an auburn fan. They are grasping at straws because they know the end is near for them. This is laughable.

Why did Tuscaloosa News even put that crap up?

He's probably doing research for a movie. College football is really big business and I wouldn't be surprised to see some big budget movies targeting big program audiences in the future.

The real reason Tom Arnold was in Tuscaloosa checking out BAMA practice.

Arnold on covert ops

That's the funniest thing I've heard this week! Hmmm, Tall blond, actractive lady invites the god father of her children down to go skiing (think bikini) in state, and he's concerned with scouting for the Giants! Rigggggghhhhhhhttttttt!!!

Half-assed, conspiracy articles like this are posted by the media...and then they wonder why Saban gets on their case for being stupid and completely making stuff up.
