Whoever wins the SEC Championship Game WILL be National Champions.
Looking at Alabama and Florida, whichever one is able to score enough on the opposing defense to win will have, by far, the strongest and most disciplined offense in college football. I'm jumping to conclusions on the East-West champs, but lets just say it's Florida's and Bama's to lose.
Against these 2 defenses, an offense cannot afford to make ANY mistakes. Everything has to be perfect. I really don't see that from any other team in the country. So far, the offenses of Bama And UF have proved the most consistent.
Bama and Florida simply don't make many mistakes at all on either side of the ball.
I really can't see USC, Oklahoma, Texas or VaTech even staying on the field with either one.

VaTech has looked really tough since we played them. dont think i would want to play them again with how well they have looked

I think everyone we have played has looked tough since we played them. Arkansas whupped some big Ole butt yesterday, Kentucky about pulled the win over SC and Ole Miss will recover well with the defense they have. I am getting more and more confident that we are a pretty dang good football team. As long as we don't let our guard down and play with the intensity we have been then I'm ready to watch this team play any and all comers.

completely agree.

Tyrod has looked good in the highlights for VT....obviously they are winning..the loss to Bama ramped up their play. Texas has not impressed me.....but Ill say this.....Shipley is one helluva player....If I was an NFL team...I couldnt draft him quick enuff.

Enteresting (to me) question; which of these teams would you want to face?

For me, not VT. Not because I don't think that we could take them, but if we play them we would not be testing our stuff against the others.

TEXAS would be good. Two named programs, but mostly because they lead our series and we now have the team to do something about it.

USC would be great, because the SEC does not often get a chance to show its stuff against the Trojans.

I don't care too much about Oklahoma.

What are your thoughts? Who would you want a shot at?

I would say, Texas as my first choice....if not them USC. I do think VaTech is playing better ball right now and would give us a bigger test than when we played.

From what I've seen, I list Bama as #1 due to the level of defense. While I think the Gators are still really good and will be in the SECCG, I'm still waiting on them to play an explosive offense.

And yes, the SECCG will be the true National Championship Game.
