Iowa Girls 3A State Golf Tournament~ average score on 18 is a quadruple bogey.

I saw one putt there that looked solid. My course is know for this type of stuff as well, because the greens are just really fast. I admit though, for a high school tournament, that is rough and I most likely sling a club pissed off. Not what you want with young players, even if they are still better than most.

Where could you make a fair placement? The whole green is sloped.
Pin placement for recreational golf weekends and tournament weekends aren't the same: this one should be difficult. But this difficult?

It's not just where the cup is cut and that's where the author missed in his tweet. What I want to know is this, what's the Stimpmeter reading? Based on what it looks like that meter reading is in the double digits: it could have—and should have—been maintained differently (slower surface.)

Roughly 2/3 of the green has a 7% slope rating. As you can also see the green only has one logical pin location.

The guy who designed the green, the one who maintains it, and the one who set it up for tournament play ... all at fault here.
