Everyone else has probably already figured this out but my son and I were talking about it this weekend. Coach Saban is the only current SEC head coach to ever have a perfect season (2009). That is the only one of his entire career. Coach Bryant had 3 (1961, 66 & 79).

And yes, this falls in the "meaningless stats" category.

Meaningless no it something he can work on.
 
Off the top of my head...active coaches with undefeated seasons:

Whittingham (Utah)
Meyer (Utah and Ohio State)
Fisher (FSU)*
Patterson (TCU)
Peterson (Boise State)
Stoops (OU)*
Tuberville (AU)

Dennis Erickson had his in Miami, but he's now the OC at Utah I believe.

* Won national title.
