Funny how this writer begins an article about Saban by digging up the Shula/Croom hiring situation, as if it's at all relavent.

He is also black and that would have been an unbelievably progressive move in a state known for the polar opposite in race relations.

Shula, who is white, got the job.

This coming from a writer in Louisiana of all places. It's like Tennessee fans calling BAMA fans hillbillies or something. As if Louisiana is the bastion of Southern intellect and social tolerance.
