Funny how this writer begins an article about Saban by digging up the Shula/Croom hiring situation, as if it's at all relavent.

He is also black and that would have been an unbelievably progressive move in a state known for the polar opposite in race relations.

Shula, who is white, got the job.

This coming from a writer in Louisiana of all places. It's like Tennessee fans calling BAMA fans hillbillies or something. As if Louisiana is the bastion of Southern intellect and social tolerance.

It is really the liberals and main-stream media (see liberals) who are the least tolerant and MOST bigotted people in the nation. While preaching and moralizing from their soapbox about how us rednecks are racist and intolerant, they themselves demonstrate true biggotry. They are maggots.
