Grats to Ingram, as a Saints fan, Im extremely happy he is going to a contender.

Also my thoughts on Julio are the same, at least he is going to a team that's playing well.

i hate Ingram didnt get drafeted higher...but when he didnt go to Miami (at 15?) I started hoping he would stay until the Saints pick...then they go out and get the CB. I was pissed! It all worked out in the end....

As for Julio...Atlanta is probably my second (maybe thrid team) so I kinda glad he went there. Matt Ryan should be able to get the ball to him a lot.

I hate kiper....he bashed Carpenters pick in the first round.

I couldn't be more pleased than I am with this. Been a Saints fan for ever, and wanted them to get Ingram from the get go. Never thought he'd fall this far down, but as a Saints fan, I'm glad he did. This is just what the Saints need. A true RB that can carry the ball 15-20 times a game and be a threat to catch a pass out of the back field.

I was surprised that Mark was still available. Hard to say someone is getting a steal in the 1st round, but IMHO, that is what New Orleans did.

I agree totally....with a genuine run threat in the backfield to keep the linebackers honest......it should greatly improve the passing game....if thats possible...lol. I bet Brees and Peyton are frothing at the mouth.....:shock::lol:

I've always liked the Saints, but there have been times when I loved 'em. Back when Archie was there, then when LSU's Dalton Hilliard from Patterson, LA just across the river, again when the Saints got Drew Brees and now Mark Ingram. Hot dang! Can't wait for the season to start.
