🏈 Indecision At QB Is A Disaster

I remember when Cooper signed most people said he will ride the bench or transfer. Most Bama fans never believed he would be Bama starter right from when the NC championship parade with AJ was going on in ttown.

He has more or less lived up to his reputation but is a great team player and would be good if some other role can be found for him.

I have some concern about Hurts height never liked short QBs. Maybe Hurts will grow on me.
Loved Andrew Zow classic QB motion ..I dont believe Hurts has similar smooth motion.

Ideally I would have like Cornwell to win the job but he has sucked. He has classic QB motion is pleasing to the eye.

Two examples of why Bama QB's have good decision making skills.

Hmm.

GMac's wife looks a fair amount like Blair.

Kinda creepy thinking he may have had a taboo sis-crush all these years.

Since when has 6'2 been short? I mean, Russell Wilson and Drew Brees are less that 6 foot, so was Michael Vick, and others.

Dude, you're not getting it.
I know that we're the most talented team in the country at every position except QB.
We might have a good enough team to hide our QB like usual.
My point is when does this ******* end?
At what point can we actually field a QB who strikes fear into our opponents?
My point is that the staff's QB indecision cost us a game last season, and could possibly ruin this season.
I'm incredulous as to how they've seen these QBs play for months and months and still can't narrow it down. You'd have to know NOTHING about QBs to have three guys, and not be able to tell who was better.
Thank God Cornwell is hurt, or else we'd still have FOUR QBs vying for the job, and confusing the **** out of our coaching staff.

You're the type of person that people have to talk to really slow aren't you?

Alabama's greatest passing yards in a season list reads like this
1) Blake Sims: 3,487 yards (2014)
2) Jake Coker: 3,110 yards (2015)
3) AJ McCarron: 3,063 yards (2013)
4) Greg McElroy: 2,987 yards (2010)
5) AJ McCarron: 2,933 yards (2012)
6) John Parker Wilson: 2,846 yards (2007)

Those five QBs won 5 SEC Championship and 5 National Championships...

Remind me... because I forget... who were the coaches for all of those QBs? Hmmmm....

And besides that how do you know that they haven't "narrowed it down?" Because Saban hasn't outright said it? How do you know they dont "know who is better?" And good lord with all of our QB knowledge, you would think you would be a QB coach some where... Saban is not going to name the starter until right before kickoff more than likely, its been like that his entire fucking career. How are you not understanding this? Just because he hasn't publicly named a starter, does not mean he doesn't know who is going to start. You're just really dense and would rather read stupid blog and twitter and forum posts and think that those people know more than a coach that has won five gotdamn national championships. You seem like you want what people consider a "dynamic QB" but couldnt care less if that QB is the best fit for the TEAM which is obviously one of the biggest factors for Saban and picking a starter. And it is why we dont see a Johnny Manziel in this offense. Will we one day see a player with that type of dynamic and ability? Who knows maybe. If that player can lead the team and not make the mistakes that causes teams that usually boast those players to lose 2-4 games a year... You are either a troll or not real bright. I'll let you pick.

Totally not true. Our offense did nothing in the first half of the game with Bateman out there. We might've opened up a good lead with Coker and held the momentum.

I was there. The Tide fumbled the opening kickoff, which Ole Miss recovered and turned into a FG. Then they did it again one or two series later, and Ole Miss scored a TD. So the Tide gift wrapped ten points for the Rebels (and lost by six). Bama had FIVE TURNOVERS. Ole Miss had ZERO. That was the biggest factor in the Tide losing.

Plus another one of those crazy, in the grasp, throw up a prayer, almost gets picked, bounces perfectly to fall right in the hands of another WR TDs that seem to happen to Bama at least once per year.

Fans like you make the good Tide fans look bad. Thanks so much bud!

A) Pretty sure you have no clue what you're talking about based off your posts in this thread and you have never played football a day in your life.
B) Nick Saban is one of the best football coach in history if you think you know more than him then you're insane in the membrane.
C) You don't see every practice. You have no clue what is really going on and why they chose various QBs over the years.

I have complete faith in the coaching staff's choice at QB.

Why not pump the brakes on all the "youre the worst kind of fan," and "you make all the other fans look bad," crap.

The man came here to share his opinion, and if its not a popular one then props to him for not being scared to say it anyway. No one is taking score. This is not a game. You dont get points by telling someone to STFU. People who try to intimidate others into simply agreeing with what the majority feel do a lot of harm to what is supposed to be a forum for different points of view. Also once people see others getting scalded for sharing ideas that are not popular then you end up with a culture that sits around in a boring circle jerk taking turns agreeing with one another. Boring.

Thanks; you replied for me. There's no team in America that can overcome FIVE TURNOVERS to zero. What's amazing is we only lost by six.

So you are whining about other people not letting him "give his opinion." So we shouldn't give OUR opinions. So his opinion matters more then ours is what you are saying? No one is "intimidating" anyone, its called calling a spade a spade. You're actually telling us not to do what YOU are doing by telling us not to do something. No one told him he couldnt give an opinion and just because someone has the freedom to give said opinion doesn't mean they are free from criticism of others opinions. So if you dont like it, tough.
