🏈 In your opinion, which is the worst bowl invitations/match-up for this post-season?

If Pitt was headed to Birmingham again, I'd say they'd get the nod.

The decision I find most perplexing is the Gator putting UGA against Nebraska...after they played last year in the Cap One.

Miami-Louisville should be a good match up. LSU-Iowa will be a snooze fest. Ohio State-Clemson could be interesting. I just hope for Clemson's sake, they don't give up another 70 like they did the last time they were in the Orange Bowl.

I was really hoping Aabama vs. Oregon ........been wanting to see that for awhile but OK will have to do.

I understand that feeling.

However, when we've got Oregon players talking about how they don't want the Rose Bowl unless they are playing for a ring? Hey, they screwed the pooch...seems to me they deserve to be left out of the BCS bowl scenarios.

Don't misunderstand me here. There are a couple of teams in the Big12 I'd have loved to see Bama play. In the end, I do like the OU match-up. In a sense we're saying goodbye to the bowl systems we've grown up with and having that last game against OU is as good of an opponent as we could ask for...

Beats the hell out of a NIU, a UCF, etc.

I prefer the OK matchup over the Orange with Clemson.

[h=4]11. SUGAR BOWL[/h] Date: Jan. 2
Time/TV: 8:30 p.m., ESPN
Matchup: Alabama (11-1) vs. Oklahoma (10-2)
Note: The last time Alabama was in the Sugar Bowl with nothing at stake, the Tide was stunned by Utah. The flipside: The last time Oklahoma won a BCS game, Abe Lincoln was president. (We kid, we kid. It was after the 2010 season -- but it was against UConn, which doesn't count, so it was when Lincoln was president.)

That's from NFL.com's, Mike Huguenin, in his annual ranking of the bowl games.

And UCF will be lucky to score 10... not that Baylor has a wonderful defense just the times I've seen UCF that offense was just so horrible.

I only watched them twice and they put up 350 yards passing on South Carolina but then were shut-down pretty well by Houston, so I'm not sure what to think about their offense. I also think this is the worst match-up though. Would love to have seen Baylor played a team with some teeth. Baylor-South Carolina would have been a dandy match-up.

UofSC vs Wisconsin shouldn't disappoint.

The last one I saw was against USF and it was horrible. They had like 200 passing but less than 80 rushing and turned the ball over 5 times. It wasnt a situation of great defense either, there was multiple times where they just flat out dropped the ball with the fumbles and the picks were horrid too. USF didnt do much better it was one of the most awful offensive displays I've ever seen.

Turnovers have been the Achilles to UCF. That and playing in a weak ass conference!! Baylor will be getting healthy and have all of their weapons back I believe. I agree with you Terry about the line. I'm thinking somewhere in the 21-24 range.

Agree with the others about the UCF game. They will look as bad as Clemson did in the Orange Bowl.

A good friend of mine is a Jawja grad. He is beyond disgusted with their bowl rematch. It was a horrible game last year, and this year promises to be worse because of all the injuries.

And SIAP, but as far as Oregon and Oklahoma, this is a business decision for the Sugar Bowl people. When the playoffs start, I believe the Sugar Bowl will be SEC v. B12, right? They're just setting up for this.
