🧑‍🤝‍🧑 / 🏡 In the "this may shock you" category...I'm going to bitch about something.

My very first cell phone was the old Motorola Startac

I even had a "dock" in my car that you could put it in to go "hands free". You still had to dial the number manually, but then you could sit it in the dock and talk. It had an integrated speaker so you could hear the other person. The speaker really sucked, though. So if your car was loud or the windows were down, you could barely hear it.
Was that one of the bag phones? Those are the first mobile phones I remember

The one I have is at the bottom on the left side.
It's a black phone. I didn't have the lights up bright, just the laptop and TV. So, didn't see it.

Honestly, the transition was easy as shit. The hardest part was walking to the router to see what the Internet password is...never can remember it when I need it but I can tell you, RIGHT NOW.

I went to E-sim, then moved the hard one over...may have taken a half of an hour. Maybe...and I wasn't looking it the whole time.

The case was another bitch...I knew it going in, but still. Another of those shipping stories: TX, to AZ, TO Ft, Worth,TX, to Haslett, TX...it was in ATL last night.

I could have driven to the store. SMH...

@TerryP that shipping get me every time.
I just won't take the phone anywhere. No reason to go anywhere today that I can think of at the moment. I did see an article that said, "IF you missed an item, here's the stores that are open for dinner." It was CVS and Walgreens. All grocery stores are closed. 🙃

IF I take the phone out of the house I will drop it...I know. They are so slippery today versus the flip phone days.

I switched from a BlackBerry to the original iPhone and haven’t had anything else since, I take that back I had a Samsung phone for two weeks (the one with the stylus thing) waiting for my new iPhone to get to me from Apple after I broke the one before that.

My son switched from iPhone to a Galaxy 7-8 months ago and he’s already counting the days until he can switch back to the iPhone.

I have no complaints with this new one...none. I think this is the third Motorola I've had in the last couple of decades. It's the first Edge.
