🏈 Image of Football before a Stadium

A couple of thoughts regarding this photo of football before BDS.

First, the field is referred to as Denny Field, which opens up the thought that Bama could have easily be plaing at Denny Field at Bryant Stadium.

Second, it mentions that is was taken from the roof of the Gym. There must have been a gym of which I was not aware. The oldest one that I know of still stands east of Sorority Row.

Question, do you suppose that there was some wife then that complained about the parking, 'cause she had to walk all the way from the back of the endzone?:smile:

Denny Field is not where current BDS is. It was located where the sorority parking lot now is off of Bryant. Denny Stadium was built in 1929.
