Well, Cheers was my #1 answer, but I'll do another direction...

Me as a kid... Comedy: Charles in Charge... Nicole Eggert back then was a smoke show. For a drama, the A-Team... running around blowing shit up with those guys would be fun.

Me now... Comedy: The Office. For a drama, it's a few years old, but for a week it would be fun... Burn Notice.

I thought about posting this under "the 70's, the 80's, the..." and on down the line but thought against it in the end. Some of us weren't born in the 70's.

Kid, versus now...should have gone that way.

When I think back about it there were quite a few shows I hated as a kid. IE: I thought "Jo" on *Facts of Life" was H.O.T.! But, I hated that show.

Back when the Duke of Hazzard was popular ... it was considered a drama in some places. CHiPS was considered a drama.

In the end...

Favorite drama as a kid (coming out of Jr. High) was Hill Street Blues.
Comedy: I'm younger ... gotta be Mork and Mindy. I'd work in McConnel's for a week.
