will be having a major come to Jesus meeting tonight. Applewhite better be ready for an all-nighter. Me thinks he and Saban aren't on the same page.

I know there have been rumors of Saban not being happy with Applewhite and his play calling at times. I hear tid-bits in his press conferences, but I think Applewhite is making the transition along with the rest of the team. His potential is obvious, but like the players he needs experience. That, he is getting.

Some teams are able to transition from old coach to new coach and old staff to new staff without trouble. We weren't so lucky this year. But then we know we don't have all-world talent and depth.

I won't make promises or guarantees. None of us can. I'm not quite ready to kiss this year off just yet.

I hope we still have some celebrating left to do.

Man you know saban is going to have his whole team (including coaches) working their (insert word) this week after this performance.....you will probably be hearing alot of new names next week

We can only hope. That was the worst game I have seen since, well, this time last year.

worst game sinch Florida State. You know, when JPW does not hit at least 3 of his first 5 passes, he usually plays bad. Not blaming this on his play alone, just seems that way to me.

I hope saban gives his players hell this week....its not really that msu beat us that kills me...its just the poor performance by our team.

Poor performance alright, but mostly by JPW. How can you not sit him after this loss? It looks like we're stuck with him no matter what. Hurry up Star.

Just add fuel to the fire and applewhite will be fired and going to Arkansas...

I would hate to be ULM next week. Thing is, if we pound 'em, everyone will say "So what" and if we don't pound 'em, everyone will say "You shoulda pounded 'em." I just want a solid win.

Rolling Tide, I don't think I said anything bad. I think Saban and Applewhite will spend a lot of time together in the coming months. Applewhite needs more time and experience. He's so young. He has made some mistakes, but I'd rather him make them now while he's still learning.

I don't always agree with Applewhite, and I'm sure Coach Saban doesn't either. I don't think that is bad or unrealistic. As long as the staff stays together the cohesiveness will happen as will the expectations from coach to coach.

They need experience "playing together" just like the players do. I hope Applewhite is here for a while. I don't want to lose him.

I hope that while discussions take place they will address when to throw the ball away, take the sack, etc.

The coaches called a nice game. FSU, LSU and MSU have been gift games.

Roll Tide!

It did feel as bad as the FSU game! I was thinking this has got to get better while I was watching today. As with FSU, it just never got better.

Applewhite going anywhere? I like what he's doing. We just need some more horses.

It's the same O that posted 34 on LSU for petes sake. That's ridiculous to think play calling did us in today.

We've got about 12 hrs left before we move on and forward.

Yeah, the coaches are the problem. Let's just continue that revolving door...

There's these two little words called faith and patience. Look into them.

"applewhite will be fired"

Anyone for getting rid of Applewhite has to be on crack, period. I really don't mean to offend anyone, but I am rather tired of people having unrealistic expectations. It's freakin' ridiculous. Even Jimbo Fisher can't fix that train wreck down in Tallahassee overnight.

I have no doubt that if Saban thinks he's not up to the job, MA won't be here long.

If Saban didn't think MA was up for the job, he would have never been hired in the first place.

We also gave Applewhite a contract extension about a month ago, so someone has got to like the job hes doing.

I like his play calling, its questionable sometimes, but thats because said thing didnt work. Well, you learn from that. However, if it had worked, hed be a genius right now, like he was against Tennessee.

I said it on like three threads, but I really like this guy as our OC. Patience guys. This is it, this is the best staff we have had since Stallings, and I cant wait till they get more time to work with the players.

Even more, we have co-offensive cordinators. If Saban did not believe in MA he would do to the in-house bullpit and call up Joe Pentry.

I believe Saban when he says its execution. Its not like we called for a punt on first down.
