You guys are good, but you aren't even close to a Vanderbilt 5 years ago.

Y'know, I'm totally fine with all the statistical analysis that says we lose by 30. I'm cool with most Bama fans saying they'll blow us off the field and be up by 21 after the first quarter. I don't agree, mind you, but I understand and don't have any problem with it.

But I've got to draw the line when I hear that our 12-0 team, ranked 6th in the county, that has beaten three top 25 opponents is "not even close" to a 2-10 Vanderbilt squad. @$#% like that is frankly ridiculous and is nothing more than stupid, blind homerism.

That one lost me as well.

We do not all feel that way. Football is one on the field. Not in the forums. Comparing teams from this year and that year is stupid, for lack of a better word. I think we have a better football team but that does not always translate into a win. I would be real surprised if the team and coaching staff takes a hohum attitude about the team they are playing.


GL to the Utes. I hope it is a clean hard fought game,and that is probably all I will have to say about it.
