🏈 Hurts, Bateman, Barnett and the QB competition

Does he have the arm strength to sustain that? Don't get me wrong, I am not in the "hate camp." I hope whomever they put in there can make the best use of the WR Corp. I realize that kid only part of the equation, but I don't think it's him. However, I will be Pulling for him, or Hurts, Barnette or the mystery guest if theta is who lines up behind center on Saturday.

Again... back to my point. I have no idea if he has the arm strength to sustain it, but neither does anyone else claiming he has a "noodle arm." One guy that I think would have an idea on the answer to that is Nick Saban...

In the great noodle arm debate, one thing should be better understood, the debate shouldn't be about Bateman or why Hurts wasn't selected to play. Pretty sure Blake Barnett was told he's playing in this one. Saban has not tipped his hand but Barnett could easily be the QB they trot out there as starter and commander and chief Saturday evening. Either way, he's playing and if we have trouble getting the ball down the field I expect this second-year player, who has no strength deficiency, to come in and be able to get the ball down the field and most anywhere else he wants it.

Noodle arm.

I hope Bateman throws four TD passes while the defense holds USC scoreless. Then I hope Barnett comes in and throws another four TD passes while the defense keeps USC scoreless. Then I hope Hurts comes in and leads the team to four TDs (Alabama probably won't be passing at this point) while the defense holds USC scoreless. Let's keep this QB controversy going another week.

I hope this doesn't happen. The complaints that we're not balanced would be too much for me to bear.

I'm rooting against Bateman because I KNOW that he doesn't have what it takes to lead our team to a title. I'd much rather him go out, go three & out everytime, so we can establish Barnett as the starting QB.
It's only logical that everyone hope this QB situation is put to rest after this game. If they both play equally mediocre, that would be the worst case scenario in my mind.

You play with him in HS? You play with him now? You troll much? Your troll game is weak!!!

Prior to cutting the cord last year I had DirecTV...I have no idea :D.

Looking over the twitter feed, nothing about SC mentioned, ODD.

PS. Sling TV is awesome. I cut the cord a long time ago and found sling tv for my sports stuff. ESPN, espn2, espnu, SEC network along with a bunch morecosts me $24 per month. That is all I care to watch anyway. I use a digital HD antenna for local channels and I pretty much get what I need.

I have thought about that. I read many negative reviews about Sling TV, with most saying that bandwidth was bad and streaming was unreliable. Have you had any problems with bandwidth? Who is your ISP, if you don't mind me asking. Would love to drop Direct TV. Thanks.

Nobody ever accused Coker of having a noodle arm. Coker had several problems developing in 2014, but he always had an absolute cannon. Blake Sims threw a tight spiral and was a great deep ball thrower. Neither ever had a question being able to stretch a defense due to arm talent.

Around here, There was quite the debate about Blake's ability to throw deep
